WCE opened its welcoming gates in 1998, and was named after one of Wildomar's founders William C. Collier. The school has 32 classrooms, a multipurpose and multi-event room, a kitchen, computer lab, library, an outdoor eating area, administrative offices, a health office, teacher workrooms, and two play areas, one for kindergarten students and one designated for students in grades 1-5.

Instructional Goals/Program- In a collaborative manner we implement California state Standards, standard-based curriculum and use student assessment data to provide a strong base for our instructional program. Our goal is to develop each student's academic and social skills to meet life's challenges with success. We invite parents and community members to join us as we continue to set high expectations for our students that will help them be successful. Educating our youth must be a partnership. Together we can prepare today's students to succeed in tomorrow's world.
